Located in the Township of Langley, Willowbrook adjoins the north boundary of Langley City and lies east to west from approx. 208th Street to 196th Street (the Surrey/Langley border). Willowbrook is a major shopping destination for the surrounding area including East Surrey.
Willoughby Heights lies to the north and as the name suggests, above the Willowbrook area. From east to west the community lies between 216th Street and 196th Street. The Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy. 1) forms the boundary between Willoughby Heights and Walnut Grove to the north. Willoughby Heights has been one of the most active areas for residential and commercial development in recent years. Numerous multi-family/single family developments have sprung up around the Willowbrook/200th Street core, as well as along 208th Street near Hwy. 1.

Located at the corner of 200th Street & the Langley Bypass, The Willowbrook Shopping Centre offers more than 150 shops and services including major retailers such as Sears, The Bay, Zellers and Toys R US. East of the Willowbrook Mall are numerous new commercial developments hosting many big box retailers such as Wal-Mart, Costco, Home Depot, Chapters, BestBuy, Staples and Michaels to name only a few. There are also plenty of specialty shops and services in this area which means you are virtually assured of finding whatever it is you need. And of course there's dozens of retaurants of all types and sizes when you're ready for a shopping break.
Recreation
- Langley Events Centre
Located in the heart of Willoughby Heights, the Langley Events Centre is a 251,000 square foot, state-of-the art recreational facility which opened on June 13, 2009. The centre features an arena bowl with seating capacity of approx. 4,000 for hockey and over 5,000 for concerts. There are also 3 gymnasiums (including centre court with seating for over 2,000), fitness centre, walking track, banquet hall and restaurant. The centre is home to the BCHL Langley Chiefs hockey team.
