Living in Fort Langley, BC
Steeped in BC history, the picturesque village of Fort Langley is located in north Langley along the banks of the Fraser River. Founded in 1827 as a fur trading post of the Hudson Bay Company, Fort Langley is a popular destination for visitors from near and far. The village is known as the birthplace of BC as the signing ceremony making BC a crown colony took place here
on Nov. 19th, 1858.
Today Fort Langley has a population of only 2700 and still offers small town charm and character. The popular downtown core, although only 3 blocks long, offers a wide selection of unique restaurants & shops.
